What characters can I encode?
Code 39 supports digits 0–9, uppercase letters A–Z, and the symbols - . $ / + % and space. Lowercase letters are automatically converted to uppercase.
Will this barcode scan correctly with a real scanner?
Yes, it follows the standard Code 39 specification, so it should be readable by any scanner or app that supports Code 39.
Can I use this for retail products?
Code 39 works for internal inventory and asset tracking, but retail products typically require a UPC or EAN barcode assigned by a standards body.
